There are few umbrellas and little greenery. The pool is small and lacks the feel of of a resort pool. After we checked in (a bit early, which was nice), we visited the pool. It was our first time visiting Anna Maria and we arrived at the property from the south, which meant we drove through an old Florida strip mall to pull into the entrance. The reason why we rated the property 4 stars instead of 5 is for the price point ($1100/ night) it didn’t quite feel like a resort. Emmie called me when beach gear came available and offered several items for us to borrow for the beach. All of the staff was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked, but lacks storage for pantry items. Washer and dryer is en suite and convenient for families visiting the beach. The primary bedroom has a large, luxury bathroom with tiled shower and separate water closet. The 2 bedroom villa is extra spacious and well appointed. Waterline Villas is a great choice for families.
